Project Details - Logy Bay Residence - Fortress StyleThis over $3.5 million project consisted of the design and construction of a three storey, 750 m2 residence. The project was carried out in association with Roman Halitzki Architecture & Design as the prime consultant, and fga was responsible for all structural design. The building’s primary load-bearing walls are composed of reinforced masonry. The 900mm thick reinforced concrete foundation walls exceed 5m high in areas. The floors and roof are constructed of composite steel and concrete. Due to the location of the structure, unusually high wind and snow loads were considered in the structural design.
