Project Details - White Rose Project -- Welding Engineering ServicesOur Welding Department services were retained by two companies for the White Rose Project: Kiewit Offshore Services, Marystown, NL and North Eastern Contractors Limited, Bull Arm Site, NL. Kiewit Offshore Service was tasked with fabrication, hook-up, and commissioning of the topside modules for White Rose Project FPSO, Sea Rose. North Eastern Contractors Limited was tasked with the fabrication of the LER & MER modules for the FPSO, Sea Rose. Our roles were development of welding procedures, procedure qualification supervision, and welding inspection support. We prepared all structural and piping welding procedures utilizing FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, & SAW welding processes on carbon and low alloy steels, austenitic stainless steels, chromium-molybdenum steels, titanium, and copper-nickel base materials.
